Four Bands Community Fund, a nonprofit organization, continuously strives to create economic opportunity on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation by helping people build strong and sustainable small businesses and increase their financial capability to enter the financial mainstream. Our programs and services translate the traditional Lakota values of self-sufficiency, wise resource management, and a spirit of entrepreneurship into practical applications for today's modern Reservation community.

9th Annual Entrepreneurship Fair
February 25, 2015; 4:30pm - 7:30pm; Upper Elementary, Eagle Butte, SD
Come to the 9th Annual Entrepreneurship Fair to help us raise awareness of local businesses and to recognize the outstanding efforts of entrepreneurs in our community. The Shop Cheyenne River Marketplace will open at 4:30pm. Dinner, presentation, and awards ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Our guest speaker this year will be Alli Moran, a Cheyenne River youth leader.

Native American Nonprofit Aims to Boost Reservation Economy by Promoting Cultural Tourism
January 29, 2015
Over the next two years, Four Bands Community Fund, a community loan fund and nonprofit organization that primarily serves the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, will implement a project to assist 100 Native Americans in building an art business by providing access to loan capital, equity injections, and professional development training. Participating artists and others will become the centerpiece of a cultural tourism marketing campaign designed to promote Cheyenne River as a destination.
