Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States, once said, “There is no dignity quite so impressive and no independence so important as living within your means.” That statement is especially inspiring in a time of economic uncertainty. How do we live within our means? We create budgets, save money in emergency accounts and we distinguish between needs and wants.

Additionally, we have a responsibility to community. Supporting local businesses by buying goods and services at home not only benefits a business, but also strengthens the local economy.
