Welcome to Lakota Country! The people of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe would like to welcome you to our reservation. Our homeland is rich in history and culture and is blessed with an abundant array of wildlife, including the sacred buffalo, wild horses, and the majestic bald eagle (our connection to the creator, Wakan Tanka). The scenic beauty of our native grasslands is extraordinary. A visit to our reservation will certainly stir your spirit.
