Four Bands must raise different types of capital-contributions, investments, and grants-to deliver technical assistance and make loans, which in turn expand our earned income potential.
We want as many people and institutions as possible to share in the successes of Four Bands, to strengthen our capacity as a CDFI that supports small businesses, and to help us invest in people on Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. Four Bands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. Therefore, gifts to us are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by federal law. We conduct an annual audit of our financial information. Here's what one of Four Bands' contributors says about us:
"Four Bands Community Fund has developed a national reputation for the quality services Tanya Fiddler and her excellent staff provide. They offer financial education, entrepreneurship development, asset building products, and a host of other programs that are improving the lives of residents of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation and beyond. I have the privilege of working with dozens of non-profit organizations across South Dakota, and few are as effective or clearly making as much of a difference in their communities as Four Bands Community Fund.
